Cat-kicking custodian arrested
CENTRAL FALLS, RI — Police have arrested a Central Falls custodian on felony charges of malicious injury to animals, according to The Valley Breeze.
Witnesses reported seeing Jeffery Doyle, 48, repeatedly kicking a cat nearly 100 feet across the Ella Risk Elementary School grounds, the article stated.
According to the article, Doyle was identified by witnesses as the attacker and arrested by police shortly after their arrival on the scene.
The animal sustained life-threatening injuries, but after receiving veterinary care at the Pawtucket Animal Shelter is now in stable condition, the article noted.
