Cascades was the runner-up for the most innovative product with its new Intelligent Paper™, which contributes to optimizing hand hygiene by combining effective hand drying with persistent antibacterial protection, the release stated.
According to the release, a total of 16 companies showcased their new offerings and over 1,200 ballots were cast in three categories.
The Intelligent Paper quickly reduces the number of residual bacteria left on hands after washing and assures antibacterial protection for 30 minutes, the release noted.
Cascades'' Intelligent Paper technology is accepted by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the release added.
