Comcast Business Services Joins BOMA International as Leadership Circle Partner
WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) today announced that Comcast Business Services, a provider of advanced communications solutions that help organizations meet their business objectives, has joined BOMA’s International Partnership Program. As a BOMA Leadership Circle Partner, Comcast will support BOMA’s vital programs in advocacy, education, research and membership.
“Comcast Business Services is a leader in the communications industry, and we are pleased to welcome them to our Partnership Program,” remarked BOMA International Chair Ray H. Mackey, Jr., RPA, CPM, CCIM, partner and chief operating officer, Stream Realty Partners, L.P. “We look forward to strengthening our relationship and working together on crucial programs and education to benefit commercial real estate.”
Comcast Business Services offers a range of data, Internet, voice and TV services for buildings and their tenants that are highly reliable and scalable from 1Mbps to 10Gbps, including a variety of Ethernet services certified by the Metro Ethernet Forum. These advanced services are delivered over an industry leading fiber-based IP network featuring more than 147,000 miles of fiber optic cable. Comcast proactively monitors the network 24/7/365 and provides support by a highly trained and experienced team that is dedicated to business customers. For more information,
“As mid-sized businesses across a variety of industries increasingly replace the cost and complexity of on-site IT infrastructure with cloud computing, software-as-a-service, videoconferencing and other network-based applications, a reliable, high-bandwidth network connection is becoming a mission-critical asset,” said Kevin O’Toole, senior vice president of product management and strategy, Comcast Business Services. “Our partnership with BOMA will allow us to work closely with its 16,500 commercial real estate professionals that collectively own or manage nine billion square feet of office space to create ‘cloud-ready’ buildings. Today’s tenants expect a high-capacity network that is always available and can scale to meet the business and application needs they have today or in the future.”
The BOMA International Partnership Program, developed in 2004, allows companies to invest in their own success and viability, as well as that of the building management industry. With three levels of participation – Cornerstone Partner, Leadership Circle Partner and Supporting Partner – the Program demonstrates the commitment of leading organizations to support BOMA International.
