Atlanta''s Public Works Department is getting to work cleaning up graffiti in the city, thanks to legislation passed by the City Council,
according to WGCL-TV.
The Atlanta City Council recently passed legislation in support of a $1,000 donation for graffiti removal supplies, the article noted.
The Public Works Department will use the money to buy fresh paint from the
Sherwin Williams Company for a citywide graffiti removal, the article stated.
According to the article, Public Works has a citywide graffiti abatement program to clean up graffiti across Atlanta and provide educational outreach and community involvement in the project.
