ARAMARK loses contract
DALLAS — ARAMARK Management Services LLP has notified the state of Texas that it plans to terminate nearly 300 employees in the Lewisville Independent School District, according to the Dallas Business Journal.
After ARAMARK lost the contract, the company issued a letter to the Texas Workforce Commission, informing the commission of the job loss, the article stated.
The majority of the layoffs will be cleaning services workers, with 267 losing their jobs, the article noted.
According to the article, the other positions affected include two administrative assistants, four assistant custodial managers and one each of general manager, land cleaning services worker, senior facility manager, senior human resources manager and senior custodial manager.
