WASHINGTON — Robert Chouffot, general manager of higher olefins and derivatives at
Shell Chemical LP, is the new chair of the
American Cleaning Institute (ACI) Board of Directors,
according to a press release.
Chouffot was elected by his fellow directors during their meeting at the
2011 ACI Annual Meeting & Industry Convention at the
Grande Lakes Orlando in Orlando, the release stated.
The new Vice Chair is Catherine Ehrenberger, vice president of research and development (R&D), quality and regulatory at
Amway and Thomas O''Brien, general manager of organics for Sasol Olefins and Surfactants GmbH, is the new treasurer, the release noted.
According to the release, the next full ACI Board election will take place during the association''s 2012 Annual Business Meeting.
