TUSCALOOSA, AL — Michael Wilson, associate director of marketing for AFFLINK, a marketing group for janitorial supply distributors, has achieved the designation of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP), according to a press release.
Wilson completed the five-part accreditation examination in the fall of 2008, the release stated.
Dennis Riffer, AFFLINK president and CEO, said: "Having a LEED-AP on staff gives our Members access to the expertise needed to assist their customers in acquiring LEED status."
The LEED rating system encourages and accelerates global adoption of sustainable green building and development practices through the creation and implementation of universally understood and accepted tools and performance criteria, the release noted.
