LOWELL, MA — The Ionator activated water sprayer from
Activeion Cleaning Solutions LLC was recently recognized by the
University of Massachusetts at Lowell Toxics Use Reduction Institute (TURI) as a High-Performance Cleaning Product (HPCP) under the
International Executive Housekeepers Association''s (IEHA) program, according to a
press release.
The University of Massachusetts at Lowell has agreed to permit its name and logo to be associated with outcomes of the IEHA HPCP testing arrangement, with appropriate disclaimers to protect the credibility of the institution, its research associates and IEHA, the release stated.
Beth Risinger, chief executive officer (CEO) and executive director of IEHA, said: "Manufacturers who want their product performance verified and validated via this program — and to market the test results to current and prospective customers — should contact us immediately, since we expect the list of participants for the remainder of 2010 will fill quickly. A volume discount is available for multi-product tests."
IEHA''s HPCP program is a voluntary fee-based program that tests green product performance on real-world soils, the release noted.
