YORK HARBOR, ME — Since April, a new cleaning company, Green Maids, has been painting the town green one building at a time, according to Seacost Online.
All of the products used by Green Maids to clean and maintain office buildings, residential setting or anywhere else they are contracted to clean are certified by Green Seal and biodegradable, non-toxic and free of harsh chemicals, the story stated.
Launderable microfiber cloths and vacuums equipped with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters are also used by the company to further promote sustainable cleaning, the story noted.
O''Brien said: "It''s about being consistent — from our service to the website, our ads, business cards, brochures. It''s about creating peace of mind for the customer. We''ll never use anything to harm the planet and we''re very detail oriented."
Green Maids owner Johnmark O''Brien hopes to broaden his service area to encompass all of Southern Maine by next year, but notes that the quality of work performed will not suffer with expansion, the story added.
