ISSA to hold FM seminar

March 13, 2014

LINCOLNWOOD, IL — In-house managers and building service contractors are faced with a highly unpredictable economy, declining revenues and budget shortfalls. In order to operate effectively in this environment they must assemble an innovative strategy to clean buildings with less labor and materials. To do so they must take a strategic approach to creating a more efficient cleaning system design.

To help facility service providers with this challenge, ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, is offering a half-day seminar, led by David Frank of the American Institute for Cleaning Science (AICS). This seminar will help in-house managers and building service contractors:

  • Learn the principles of workloading and how to redefine staffing levels
  • Understand benchmark statistics
  • Balance areas of risk while redefining task frequency minimums
  • How to evaluate, reduce, and redeploy the workforce
  • Review of cleaning systems designs and which one is best suited for the operation
  • Explore the elements of a comprehensive sustainability policy
  • Find out how the new ISSA Value of Clean white paper can help you.

Any professional responsible for the maintenance and cleaning of a facility will benefit from this educational seminar.

These seminars will be taking place in Arlington, Virginia, on April 1 and Garden City, New York, on June 5.
