Wait a minute … is it December already?
Though many of us rolled our eyes as youngsters, the old cliché now proves true — time appears to speed up as we get older.
This saying seems especially applicable in the cleaning and maintenance market.
As active cleaning management professionals jump from issue to issue and work with their employees to guarantee the safety and cleanliness of the buildings they maintain, days and weeks can sneak past.
Involved and invested in the daily battle against grime, contamination and inefficiency, it can be difficult for managers to step back and plan for the not-too-distant future.
And the holiday season may not help.
While professionals responsible for schools and office buildings may have extra time to gather their thoughts and plan for 2014, managers that oversee retail spaces and hospitality crews can be consumed by crowded, hectic facilities.
