FSSI teleconference open for comments
WASHINGTON — On October 21, 2013, a President’s Management Advisory Board (PMAB) teleconference will provide an opportunity for individuals in the JanSan industry to make their thoughts on FSSI known, according to a press release.
Small business federal contractors are encouraged to submit comments on how FSSI has or will affect them as part of this presentation, the release stated.
While the public will not be able to ask questions or participate in the teleconference, they can submit email or paper statements by 12:30 p.m. EST on Friday, October 18, 2013, the release noted.
Email submissions can be addressed to Mr. Brockelman, designated federal officer, at email@example.com.

“The PMAB was the driving force to suggest implementation of FSSI for federal government spending. Although the PMAB made this recommendation, which OMB and GSA quickly committed themselves to implement, they made this decision without obtaining input from the small business federal contracting community who would be most impacted by the FSSI,” the release said.
