District concerned with custodial services
MONTICELLO, AR — The Drew Central school board has listened to concerns from the Superintendent over the level of quality the school is receiving from its custodial contractor, according to The Advance-Monticellonian.
Superintendent Billy Williams told the board that the level of service the district has thus far received from GCA Service Group has been below expectation, the article stated.
According to the article, part of the problem stems from the fact that the contract began on July 1, and much of the work that needed to be completed in June was not finished.
Williams also believed that part of the problem was that the company inherited many of the same employees that were originally employed by the district, the article noted.
