HFI Welcomes Hygiena, Kaivac, and Zadro to Its Vendor Advisory Board - SMART Committee Formed to Move the Market
BOISE, ID — The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) is pleased to welcome Hygiena, Kaivac, and Zadro to its vendor advisory council to promote and support enlightened discussion on the development of best practices leading to healthier facilities and communities; and to lay groundwork for a SMART committee – a Swift Market Assessment Response Team – to assist the marketplace with rapid conversion to healthier processes.
“Following the example of a leading automotive company, we are forming a SMART committee - a Swift Market Assessment Response Team - to best determine how to help the market convert rapidly to healthier processes and tools,” said Allen Rathey, founder and president of HFI. “We look forward to actively engaging with these companies - and others to be announced - in a dialog to make facilities and communities more healthful through better cleaning, maintenance, and operations,” said Allen Rathey, founder and president of HFI. “We are pleased to welcome these forward-thinking organizations to this process.”

The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) strives to provide authoritative information for creating and maintaining clean, healthy indoor environments. Since buildings are ecosystems, HFI works to address the many interrelated aspects of built environments — such as air, water, energy, materials and resources, green cleaning, indoor environmental quality, waste management, people and more — as an integrated or holistic system. Inasmuch as “Clean” is a metaphor for healthy indoor spaces, HFI also emphasizes prevention and removal of pollutants or contaminants to help ensure optimum conditions for living, learning and working. HFI does not endorse products.
