The power of words

MUKILTEO, WA — The words we use when marketing our services can make a big difference in whether we secure new customers or not, according to a press release.

This is true in most industries and is very true in the cleaning as well as the professional carpet cleaning industries, the release stated.

"Spoken and written words can carry awesome power. However, words can add positive power, helping us gain success, or they can work against us, minimizing or even eliminating marketing success.   • Bonded and insured.

The release noted that the following words could have a negative marketing connotation:

  • No, not, never
  • Can’t
  • Wet
  • Moldy
  • No guarantee
  • Soiled (too soiled)
  • Grime buildup.
