'Target practice' in school leads to arrest
CINCINNATI — It's being called a "boneheaded mistake," but a night custodian at Amity Elementary School was arrested for bringing a gun into the school and taking target practice in the basement, according to The Blaze.
After Brian McConnell finished his rounds last Thursday night, he needed a way to pass the time, the article stated.
According to the article, rather than take the conventional route of reading a book or playing a game on a phone, McConnell reportedly decided to shoot stacks of phonebooks with a .38 caliber revolver.
Police were called to the scene, naturally, and McConnell was arrested for possession of a firearm on school property, the article noted.
