HFI supports NSPMA's annual conference
BOISE, ID — The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI) is pleased to support the National School Plant Management Association’s (NSPMA’s) 18th Annual Conference and Trade Show in 2013, according to a press release.
The theme of this year's trade show, held April 27-30 at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas, will be "Resilience — Rising Above The Rest," the release stated.
According to the release, the program will include sessions on:
- Ways to improve facility services
- Improving safety in K-12 schools
- Slip and fall prevention — safe floors, safe kids
- Process Cleaning for Healthy Schools (better, healthier custodial on a budget).
"We are pleased to support this event to foster greater awareness of the importance — and means — of maintaining a healthy school environment," said Allen Rathey, founder and president of The Healthy Facilities Institute (HFI).
"We look forward to discussing ways in which facility professionals can advance their knowledge of school plant management, maintenance and operations, furthering a shared mission of NSPMA and HFI to make K-12 educational facilities cleaner, better maintained, healthier and more resilient," Rathey added.
