Is there any way to clean oven cleaner from a vinyl composition tile (VCT) floor?
There is overspray on the floor from cleaning a stove, and it has discolored the tiles.
Wednesday’s Answer:
Oven cleaner is very alkaline and will soften and destroy the floor finish.
How much actual damage has been done to the tile depends on the amount of the spillage.
The discoloration can be from the damage to the finish or it may be in the tile below the finish.
