Armchem taps industry veteran for role at Handi-Clean Products
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL — Armchem International has named Frank Mauro as president of their latest acquisition, Handi-Clean Corporation, according to a press release.
Mauro, a 26-year veteran of the chemical industry, will run the day-to-day operations of the Greensboro, North Carolina-based Handi-Clean, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly cleaning products and equipment, the release stated.
“I have known Frank Mauro for many years and am very excited to bring him on board to lead the team at Handi-Clean. His expertise in sales, marketing and product development make him a great fit to expand the company’s distribution nationwide, help integrate Handi-Clean into the Armchem umbrella of companies, and leverage our new manufacturing capabilities, said Armchem Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Andrew Brahms.
Mauro has extensive senior management experience and a proven track record in growing companies, having previously spent 11 years as president of Athea Laboratories where he was instrumental in increasing the company’s sales from $3.5 million to $21 million, the release noted.
