MASON, OH — Included in the $164 million renovation of Amon G. Carter Stadium are the more than 100 decorative, durable, customized metal waste and recycling receptacles from Witt Industries to keep the facility looking great, according to a press release.
"We expect the stadium renovation to transform the game-day experience of every Horned Frog fan," said T. Ross Bailey, Texas Christian University’s (TCU) associate athletic director.
"A key element of that experience is a facility free of trash and debris — which is achieved through the addition of 102 custom waste and recycling containers. These containers extend our sustainability initiatives while building the Horned Frogs brand," Bailey added.
Combining aesthetics with functionality, these custom containers feature the Texas Christian Horned Frog logo on the receptacles, which are powder coated to match the university’s color scheme, the release stated.
According to the release, the receptacles are enhanced with protective coatings to add durability and protect the stadium concrete.
