Custodian discovers explosives in Disney trash
ORLANDO — Three grenades were found by a Walt Disney World janitor in a Downtown Disney trashcan, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
The grenades were found in a parking lot area, accessible only to employees, around 7:30 p.m., the article stated.
According to the article, investigators reported that the explosives were hollowed out and, therefore, posed no danger.
The grenades were removed from the area around 10 p.m. and would be detonated to ensure they posed no threat, the article noted.
