Green Seal Hires AlturaSolutions Communications to Increase Its Awareness in Key Industries
CHICAGO —- In an effort to maintain its position as one of the world’s leading Green certification organizations, Green Seal™ has retained Chicago-based AlturaSolutions Communications to help promote the company within the professional cleaning (jansan) industry as well as the paint and coverings industry.
Green Seal is one of the pioneers in the Green cleaning movement and in recent years, has broadened its focus. Today, the organization works to promote not only a Greener, but a more sustainable economy, in which all forms of life and natural resources are protected and social needs and values are honored.
The not-for-profit organization was founded in 1989 and was the first environmental certification organization in the United States.
Its initial goal, which is still honored today, was to help consumers identify products and services that have a reduced impact on the environment.
Over the years, Green Seal has developed a reputation for absolute integrity and environmental leadership, helping it stand apart from the many other certification organizations that have surfaced in recent years.
In addition to other tasks, AlturaSolutions Communications will work with industry editors to promote Green Seal news, activities, and events; provide tip-sheets, surveys, and related information that are of value to people in these industries; secure article placements in major trade publications discussing the importance and value of Green certification.
“This is a great honor to have been selected to work with Green Seal,” says Robert Kravitz, president of AlturaSolutions Communications. “For many of us in the professional cleaning industry, Green means Green Seal. Its contributions have helped the industry immeasurably—making the cleaning industry not only more environmentally responsible, but much more respected as well.”
