Clorox offers norovirus prevention kit

OAKLAND, CA — Healthcare professionals know that the fall season also means the start of norovirus season, with most cases occurring between November and April in the U.S., according to a press release.

norovirus prevention toolkitSince norovirus is extremely contagious, outbreaks are especially harrowing for hospitals and long-term care facilities, which account for more than 25 percent of all U.S. outbreaks, according to a 2010 study in the American Journal of Infection Control, the release stated.
