Would you recommend sealing a new porcelain tile floor that is installed in the foyer area and also the public restrooms?
I worry about what the urine will do in the men's restroom.
Restrooms are wet mopped each day with a neutral cleaner, but it seems like the grout will require more long-term attention.
The building is a courthouse, so daily usage is not too extreme.
The porcelain tile is not porous, so you can easily clean it.
The grout may have been sealed at the time of installation, and a ppenetrating seal would help avoid liquid absorption.
If this was not done, you could do it in the limited area you are concerned with.
