MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Tennant Company will feature Trojan Battery's HydroLink single-point battery watering system on a variety of floor scrubbers and rider sweepers, according to a press release.
The HydroLink system makes it easier and more cost effective for Tennant customers to maintain their deep-cycle flooded batteries, helping to improve battery life and reduce the frequency of battery replacement, the release stated.
"Our customers continually tell us they are looking for battery solutions that provide longer runtimes and simplify the upkeep process," said Karin Overstreet, Tennant Company director of product management.
"Powering Tennant's equipment with Trojan’s innovative HydroLink technology addresses these needs by simplifying the maintenance process to help extend battery life while delivering exceptional performance," Overstreet added.
According to the release, with Trojan's HydroLink single-point battery watering technology, users can fill deep-cycle flooded batteries to the proper electrolyte level with virtually no operator training.
HydroLink increases operator safety by eliminating the need to open batteries for routine watering and maintenance, reducing the potential for contact with the battery's electrolyte, the release noted.
