CINCINNATI — Thanks to an exceptional dedication to safety, xpedx’s distribution warehouse in Fairfield, Ohio, recently celebrated four years without an U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recordable incident, according to a press release.
An OSHA recordable incident is a work related accident that results in the use of prescription medication, medical treatment beyond first aid, loss of consciousness, days away from work, restricted work or transfer to another job, the release stated.

“I couldn’t be more proud of this team,” said Kevin Frey, manager of operations at xpedx Fairfield.
“While I have only been in Fairfield for a short time, I have already seen the dedication to safety that each of these team members possesses on a daily basis. I also applaud each of them for the cleanliness of the facility which has a direct correlation to this wonderful safety achievement,” Frey added.
