SIOUX FALLS, IA — A window washer employed by High Rise Enterprises Inc. succumbed to injuries he suffered after a fall from a medical facility over the weekend, according to KELO-TV.
Joshua Keith Obenauer was cleaning the windows at Avera McKennan's Prairie Center when a fatal accident occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, the story stated.
Obenauer was repositioning scaffolding on the roof when it dislodged from the building while he was still strapped into a harness, pulling him over the edge, the story noted.
An eyewitness called for help and the worker was transported to a hospital, but Obenauer’s injuries were too severe to overcome, the story added.
