Cintas announces a floor traction audit webinar

CINCINNATI — The National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) says that a slip and fall claim can cost a business an average of $19,000 per incident, according to a press release.

As a part of its ongoing commitment to help restaurant owners and operators develop and maintain safe floors, Cintas Corporation has announced it will host a webinar on the topic of floor traction auditing today, September 12 at 2 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT), the release stated.

According to the release, titled "Measuring Floor Safety," the webinar panelists will feature Brent Johnson, walkway auditor trainer for the National Floor Safety Institute and chief auditor of traction auditing.

"Every effective floor safety maintenance program begins with a baseline audit," said David Collette, director of marketing for Cintas Foodservice.

"This webinar will provide participants with background information on floor traction audit procedures, tips for understanding audit results and ways to develop a safe floor program based on findings," Collette added.
