November 24, 2010
LAS VEGAS — The 16th Annual National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (ErgoExpo) at Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, November 30 – December 3, will highlight the importance of workplace ergonomics in a time of economic recovery, according to a press release.
ErgoExpo''s core educational topics of safety, return on investment, increasing productivity, managing healthcare and workers'' comp costs and the aging workforce will be coupled with workplace specific conference tracks for office, industrial, lab, health care, 24/7 and uncontrolled environments including energy, utility, and maintenance, the release stated.
"Both attendees and exhibitors are talking about coming to ErgoExpo in order to continue their organization''s push toward economic recovery. This year''s event is 10 percent larger than last year, which indicates the importance of this Conference and Expo to the ergonomics community," said Walter Charnizon, President of Continental Exhibitions Inc., owners/producers of ErgoExpo.
"ErgoExpo is currently outpacing the trade show industry''s average growth for 2010 — in fact, nearly doubling it. 99 percent or more of attendees report each year that they would recommend ErgoExpo to a colleague. The strong attendee base makes ErgoExpo an important market place for those selling safety, wellness and ergonomics products and services," Charnizon added.
