CINCINNATI — Procter & Gamble''s plants in Egypt are up and running again after being shut down for more than two weeks, according to The Enquirer.

The plants, located just outside of Cairo, as well as P&G''s general office in Cairo, were closed as protests against Egypt''s government escalated, the article stated.

General office employees were told on January 26 to work from home and the factories closed on January 28, the article noted.

According to the article, the plants and office reopened in the past week, and about 1,500 employees and contractors returned to work.
