UTICA, NY — Crowds packed Tuesday night''s Utica School Board meeting in support of two very dedicated employees of the Utica school system, according to WKTV-TV.
The first award was for outstanding employee and was presented to Louis Castelli, for the work he''s done as a custodian for JFK Middle School, the article stated.
Fellow teachers say Castelli is much more than a custodian: He''s worked in the Utica School District
for 14 years, the article noted.
According to the article, Castelli is a Proctor High School
graduate, who is known for always going to extra mile.
Josephine Tebano, an Italian language teacher at JFK Middle School
, was also honored with the Educator of the Month award.
