WASHINGTON — The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) has announced that nominations are being accepted to serve on the 12-member National Advisory Committee on Occupational Safety and Health (NACOSH), according to a press release.
NACOSH was established under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 to advise the Secretaries of Labor and Health and Human Services on matters relating to the administration of the Act, the release stated.
According to the release, nominations will be accepted for representatives, who will serve a two-year term, in the following categories: Public, management, labor, occupational safety and occupational health.
Nominations may be submitted electronically at the Federal eRulemaking Portal or by facsimile at (202) 693-1948, the release noted.
Nominations must be submitted no later than November 28, 2011, the release added.
