JACKSONVILLE, FL — None of the Duval County custodians will lose their jobs due to budget cuts, according to WJXT-TV.
The jobs will remain safe because of a seven percent pay cut and a three percent reduction in benefits negotiated by the custodians'' union, the article stated.
According to the article, 10 of the district''s nearly 200 custodians stood to lose their jobs, many of which have more than 20 years with the district.
