BALTIMORE — Management for the National Facilities Management and Technology (NFMT) Conference and Expo has announced a record-breaking year for its flagship event, which was held at the Baltimore Convention Center March 13-15, according to a press release.
NFMT attracted 176 new companies showcased in the exhibit hall, contributing to a total of 685 booths on display, the release stated.
According to the release, overall attendance was up three percent over last year, breaking previous records with 5,301 facility managers on site for the big event.
"We couldn’t be more pleased with this year''s show," said Todd Kotlarek, director of events for Trade Press Media, co-owner of NFMT.
"The attendance was huge, the exhibit hall was enormous and the networking that took place was extremely fruitful. We are grateful to all of our attendees, speakers and exhibitors for making NFMT 2012 such an exciting and rewarding experience," Kotlarek added.
With more than 120 educational sessions, NFMT is the country''s largest and most robust event dedicated to professionals responsible for the management, operations, maintenance, design and construction of commercial and institutional buildings, the release noted.
