IEHA Presents 2010 Honorary Membership Award

The International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) recently awarded Bob Robinson, Sr., founder and president of Kaivac Inc., with the 2010 Honorary Membership Award for his work in providing equipment to the housekeeping management profession that protects the health of end-users, building occupants and improves the self-esteem of cleaning workers.

The recipient of the Honorary Membership Award is granted complimentary IEHA membership for life.

MilliCare Partner Given IFMA Award

Chip Rankin, president of MilliCare partner company EBC MilliCare, has been honored with an International Facility Management Association (IFMA) Award of Excellence in the Associate Member category.

EPA Recognizes Ice Melt Product

North American Salt Company (NASC) recently announced that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has awarded the Design for the Environment (DfE) label to its ice melt product Pro Series 960 Choice Formula.

The DfE label is awarded after the EPA''s review team has screened each ingredient contained in a product and found each to pose the least concern among chemicals in its class.

Earth Friendly Products Awarded For Sustainability

National Independent Sanitary Supply Companies (NISSCO) recently recognized Earth Friendly Products as the recipient of its first NISSCO Sustainability Award for their cradle-to-cradle consideration in their everyday business activities.

The company was also given the California Governor''s Environmental and Economic Leadership Award (GEELA) for Excellence in Sustainable Building Measures.

Earth Friendly Products was selected to receive the award based on the company''s contributions in conserving California''s resources and the company''s continued efforts towards zero waste and zero emissions.

ISSA Recognizes The Budd Group

ISSA has awarded Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and CIMS-Green Building (CIMS-GB) certificates of achievement to The Budd Group.

The Budd Group is now one of 75 CIMS-certified organizations worldwide that have proven outstanding excellence and a commitment to the utmost in customer satisfaction.

Spartan Holds International Symposium

In early November 2010, Spartan Chemical Company Inc. held an International Symposium at their headquarters.

Representatives from Spartan in Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Lebanon, Peru and Uruguay were in attendance.
