ACI Names Vice President

Michelle Radecki, general counsel of the American Cleaning Institute (ACI), has been named vice president of the association.

Radecki will continue to serve as ACI general counsel, a position she was appointed to in 2006, and will be responsible for managing all of ACI''s legal affairs and providing legal guidance to the association on pertinent laws, regulations and court decisions.

WFBSC Makes Board Appointment

Tim Murch, president of Mitch Murch''s Maintenance Management Company (MMMM), has been appointed to the World Federation of Building Service Contractors (WFBSC) Board of Directors.

CIRI Releases New Dates For Symposium

The Cleaning Industry Research Institute International (CIRI) has announced new dates for its 2011 Cleaning Science Symposium, “Green Cleaning & Science.”

The event will be held at the Georgia Institute of Technology Conference Center in Atlanta, April 27-29, 2011.

The symposium agenda will include panel discussions that address numerous topics including how the success of the green cleaning movement can be measured and the environmental, economic and health benefits and tradeoffs that are associated with cleaning programs going green.

Windsor Commits To Certification

Windsor Industries has announced the certification of their entire sales force, upper management and marketing department as Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) ISSA Certification Experts (ICE).

Dave Frank conducted a one-day training and certification course where more than 60 Windsor employees successfully completed the ICE and ICE-Green Building (ICE-GB) certification.
