Gent-l-kleen Founder Passes Away

Claude E. Strickler, Jr., the founder of Gent-l-kleen Products Inc., passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at the age of 87.

“Bud,” as he was known by family and friends, began the company in the basement of his family home in 1949.

RCP Announces New President

Rubbermaid Commercial Products LLC (RCP) announced that Neil Eibeler has been named president of the business.

In his capacity as president, Eibeler will be responsible for continuing RCP''s successful track record of bringing innovative solutions to the industry.

Prior to this appointment, Eibeler was president of Newell Rubbermaid''s IRWIN Construction Tools and Accessories global business unit.

Pacific Floor Care welcomes Kip Kauffman and Chad Servello to its team of professionals.

Kauffman joins Pacific as principal engineer for new product development and brings with him over 10 years of engineering experience within the maintenance equipment industry.

Servello joins Pacific as materials manager after recently working as a materials purchasing manager for the agricultural industry.

Network Services Elects Board Members

Network Services Company is pleased to announce the election of a new board chair and a new member to its board of directors.

Tracy Evatt, currently serving as chief operating officer (COO) at Pollock Paper Distributors, assumed the role of board chair, effective March 27, 2011, bringing with him more than 30 years of industry experience.

Joining the Network Services'' board of directors in 2011 is Pierre Goudreault, president of Wood Wyant.

Wausau Explains Expansion Plans

Wausau Paper Corporation recently made public plans to expand the company''s towel and tissue production capabilities in response to growing demand for its “green” products.

Total costs associated with the project approximate $220 million and include building construction, the new paper machine, converting line enhancements and other project-related expenses.

Once operational, employment at the Harrodsburg, Kentucky, site is expected to increase by up to 76 full-time positions.

KleenMark Receives CIMS Certification

KleenMarkhas announced it has again earned certification with honors to ISSA''s Cleaning Industry Management Standard (CIMS) and achieved CIMS-Green Building (GB) certification.

KleenMark earned the CIMS certifications following a vigorous three-day review conducted by an independent, accredited assessor who visited randomly selected KleenMark customers to ensure its activities are consistent with those documented by the company.
