xpedx Names Vice President Of Sales
Danielle Yarber has been named vice president of sales for facility solutions at xpedx.
In her new position, Yarber will have lead responsibility for the facility solutions sales channels, all national business and will oversee xpedx group sales directors.
The Clean Trust Elects Board Of Directors
The former Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC), now known as The Clean Trust, recently elected its 2012 Board of Directors.
Serving one year: Graham Bedwell, The Rouse Company; Dan Mabesoone, MasterCare Corporation; Norman Maia, MFT National Cleaning Services Inc.; Darrell Paulson, Advanced Restoration Specialist; and Tony Wheelwright (retired).
Serving two years: John Downey, Downey''s Carpet Care of Granville; Pete Duncanson, ServiceMaster Clean; Lonnie McDonald, Textile Care Group Companies; Kevin Pearson, Pearson Carpet Care; and William Weigand, Legend Brands.
Serving three years: Craig Jasper, Cleaning and Restoration Institute; David Keiter, Yellow Van Cleaning Services; Patrick Moffett, Environmental Consulting Management & Engineering; Rodney Paulson, A1 Carpet Care; and Hendrik Unck (retired).
Darrell Paulson was elected chairman of The Clean Trust Board of Directors.
Additional executive committee officers elected during the meeting were: Craig Jasper, first vice president; Pete Duncanson, second vice president; Tony Wheelwright, international vice president and chairman of the Certification Council; Lonnie McDonald, treasurer; Dan Mabesoone, secretary; and Paul Pearce, immediate past chairman.
Patrick Winters will continue to serve as The Clean Trust president and chief executive officer (CEO).
Georgia-Pacific Honors Worker
Georgia-Pacific Professional recently announced the name of the 2011 Brawny Industrial Great American Worker: James Bennett of Harlingen, Texas.
Bennett, an engineering manager at Cardone Industries, was selected as the national winner because of his leadership in streamlining processes, educating and mentoring his co-workers and a complete dedication to his job.
In addition to being named the Brawny Industrial Great American Worker, Bennett is also a winner of a new 2011 Ford F-150.
Director Of Government Programs Welcomed
Martek Global Services recently announced the appointment of Richard Childress as director of government programs.
Childress will oversee government programs and will provide Martek with direct support on all acquisition-related endeavors.
An acquisition subject matter expert, Childress brings more than 40 years of experience as an engineer, program manager, portfolio manager, analyst and executive.
Expert JMS Makes Key Appointment
Expert JMS recently announced the appointment of Michael Myers as national director of facilities services, joining Bob Bevins and Robert Berg on its expanded business development team.
Prior to joining Expert JMS, Myers, who brings extensive expertise in facility maintenance and construction and over 20 years of experience, held a number of account management positions in the industry, most recently as national account manager at USM Transfield Services Group.
Tim Murch Elected To BSCAI Board
Tim Murch, president of Mitch Murch''s Maintenance Management Company (MMMM), recently announced his election to serve for his third term on the Building Service Contractors Association International (BSCAI) 2012-2014 Board of Directors.
Spartan Promotes Several
John Swigart has been promoted to the position of president of Spartan Chemical Company Inc.
In his new position, Swigart will continue to work closely with corporate management, with U.S. distributor relations and will actively participate in sales conventions, trade shows and industry organizations.
Other promotions include: Jim Lenardson to the position of corporate executive vice president; Dave Reed to the position of vice president of national accounts; and Don Papenfus to the position of vice president of operations.

Access Partners Honors Winners
Contest participants from California, Nevada and Arizona visited 14 Access Partners manufacturers'' booths, got a unique sticker from each booth, posted it on the official entry form and deposited the completed form at Cleaning & Maintenance Management magazine''s booth.
