Bree Lewis, HD Supply Facilities Maintenance''s senior industry development manager for hospitality solutions, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Latino Hotel and Restaurant Association (LHRA).
In her current role at HD Supply Facilities Maintenance, Lewis is responsible for strategic planning, overseeing the management of value proposition initiatives, industry research and association engagement for the company''s hospitality business.
Kaivac President Welcomed To NFSI Advisory Board
Bob Robinson, Sr., Kaivac Inc.''s chief executive officer (CEO) and president, was recently appointed to the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI) Advisory Board.
Kaivac has taken a leadership position in floor safety with its line of restroom and floor care products designed to reduce labor by up to two-thirds, cut chemical costs by 50 to 90 percent and get surfaces 10 to 60 times cleaner.
Vermont School Custodian Of The Year Announced
The Vermont School Custodians and Maintenance Association has honored custodian Ben Beers as the 2012 Vermont School Custodian of the Year.
Beers has been a custodian at Burr and Burton Academy for more than five decades, beginning his career the day after he graduated from the school.
Beers not only oversees the general maintenance of the school, but is also the go-to person for repairing, fixing, plumbing, painting and electrical work

Amerlux Receives Five NGL Awards
Recognized for excellence during the fourth annual Next Generation Luminaires (NGL) Solid-State Lighting (SSL) design competition, Amerlux received Five NGL Awards at LightFair International.
Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD), NGL was launched in 2008 to promote excellence in the design of energy-efficient light-emitting diode (LED) luminaires for general illumination in commercial lighting applications.

Ecolab Recognized For Sustainability
