New bathrooms are a go

FAIRFIELD, CT — Jennings Elementary School students will have newer, safer bathrooms next year, according to The Daily Fairfield.

Two million dollars in renovations to Fairfield''s schools and town-owned buildings was approved Monday night at the Representative Town Meeting, the article stated.

According to the article, the Board of Education and the Department of Public Works initially requested nearly $2.9 million for the repairs.

The approved plan will renovate the bathrooms at Jennings and perform roof repairs at Roger Ludlowe Middle School, the article noted.
