WOOD DALE, IL — Disaster Kleenup International Inc. (DKI) has announced that National Catastrophe Restoration Inc. (NCRI) is a proud participant in the popular ABC Series, Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, surprising the Hall family of Wichita, Kansas, according to a press release.

The family of six was hit hard by tragedy on June 26, 2010, when a car accident left dad, Carl, paralyzed from the shoulders down, the release noted.

Carl''s condition made it impossible for him to continue living in their bi-level home, which contained doorframes that were not wheelchair-accessible and dangerous stairs that made it impossible to move in and around the house: As a result, the family was forced to leave their home and move to a rented condominium, the release stated.

According to the release, on February 18, 2011, the Hall family was sent on a vacation to Disney World while "EM:HE" design team leader Ty Pennington, Paul DiMeo, Paige Hemmis, Jillian Harris, local builder Cook Homes, NCRI and the community built them a new house.

NCRI has been providing insurance restoration services in the Kansas marketplace since 1972 and has been a member of DKI since 1996, the release added.
