Guillermina Montes is accused of purchasing a necklace from Belden Jewelers, perfume, a baseball cap and other items at the mall before filling up her gas tank at a Cumberland Farms, the story stated.
According to the story, when Montes was confronted by an officer she was allegedly still wearing the necklace obtained by questionable means.
Montes, who ran up a bill of roughly $1,000, faces charges of larceny, forgery, uttering a forged document and larceny of a misplaced debit card, the story noted.
Montes, who supposedly admitted to finding and using the card to detectives, is free without bail and scheduled to appear in court February 19, 2010, the story added.
