SARASOTA, FL — On May 9, a Sarasota County School District maintenance worker was arrested for scrapping materials from district warehouses, according to the Sarasota Patch.

Keith Cochrane, 46, was arrested on Monday and charged with three counts of dealing in stolen property and three counts of false ownership of materials to a secondhand metal recycler, the article stated.

According to the article, detectives believe Cochrane stole at least 65 pounds of copper and brass tubing from at least two locations.
