CALLAWAY, FL — The property manager of an apartment complex discovered inconsistencies on invoices from two former employees, according to the News Herald.
Many of the items purchased by a former manager and maintenance worker could not be found, the article stated.
According to the article, the maintenance worker, Kenneth Donald Penland, was contacted by the Bay County Sheriff''s Office, who concluded that Penland sold the missing items for roughly $1,400.
Penland was arrested on May 19 and was charged with grand theft and dealing in stolen property, the article noted.
