HAMILTON, OH — Earlier this year, Kaivac Inc. reported that its 500 pounds of pressure per square inch (PSI) No-Touch Cleaning® System and its KaiFly™ Flat Surface Cleaning System, when used as directed with water only and no chemicals or cleaning agents, qualify as sanitizing devices, according to a press release.
However, the company reports that since this announcement, an increasing number of end-users and distributors have asked the company to clarify this report, the release stated.
According to the release, some of the most frequently asked questions included whether or not the systems used in the test use electronically charged water and what exactly it meant if a system is a "sanitizing device," the release noted.
