Hamilton, Ohio — Kaivac, Inc., announces today that both its KaiVac® No-Touch Cleaning® and its KaiFly™ flat-surface cleaning systems have been confirmed as sanitizing devices by an independent U.S. Environmental Protection Agency–certified lab using plain water without the use of chemical cleaning agents.
Lab test results show that these systems achieve a greater than 99.9 percent reduction of E. coli, C. difficile, MRSA, pseudomonas, and salmonella bacteria when used as directed (EPA Est. # 71665-OH-2).

Rapid Restroom Sanitizing™ Program
Normally, using the No-Touch Cleaning process, the first step is the application of chemicals to all surface areas to be cleaned. However, eliminating this step and using plain water has enabled the company to develop a new “high-speed” No-Touch Cleaning process that also greatly simplifies machine operation and training.
In fact, new time studies report that the already-fast No-Touch Cleaning times can now be further reduced by an additional 40 to 50 percent while delivering outstanding cleaning results. As a result, Kaivac is announcing that a new patent-pending Rapid Restroom Sanitizing program with associated training materials will be ready for rollout in Q4 2009.
