NADCA Announces 2011 Safety Award and Outstanding Achievement Safety Award Winners
(Washington, D. C.) NADCA – The HVAC Inspection, Maintenance and Restoration Association has named K-tech Kleening Systems as one of 68 NADCA member companies to receive the 2011 Safety Award. This honor was awarded to show that K-tech Kleening Systems is dedicated to ensuring the safety of its employees and clients.
The National Air Duct Cleaners Association created the NADCA Safety Awards Program to recognize those companies that have sustained superior employee safety and health program results. The requirements for NADCA’s Safety Awards are based on standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Out of the 68 companies awarded this year, 41 qualified for the Outstanding Safety Award, which is given to members that have met the strict guidelines of the program for three or more consecutive years. K-tech Kleening Systems is one of those 41 companies. K-tech Kleening Systems was recognized for “its outstanding safety record of non-fatal occupational injury and illness incidence rates in 2009, 2010, and 2011, which were calculated to be less than the industry average using standardized formulas developed by the National Safety & Health Council.”
