LINCOLNWOOD, IL — The ISSA Foundation is asking all ISSA members to consider helping the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, according to a press release.

For this relief effort, the ISSA Foundation is partnering with AmeriCares and Gifts In Kind International (GIK), the release noted.

"Hospitals and institutions are struggling to evaluate their situation as the government grapples with the huge scale of this disaster; we are assessing the most immediate medical needs," said Michelle Jackson, AmeriCares emergency response manager.

"We are prepared to support hospitals and health responders with the supplies they need to diagnose, treat and heal survivors," Jackson added.

AmeriCares has stressed that it is in desperate need of monetary donations, while GIK is working to access what products are needed at this time, the release stated.

To help financially, please download a contribution form and forward the completed form to Tracy Weber, operations manager of the ISSA Foundation.
