CROOKSTON, MN — Two years after their last contract ended, Johnson Controls is pitching its services to the Crookston School Board for another contract to better maintain the district''s school buildings and swimming pool, according to the Crookston Times.
Johnson Controls has a detailed knowledge of the maintenance that''s been deferred at the district buildings in recent years, mostly due to the district''s extremely tight budget situation, the article stated.
According to the article, board members on the committee agree that there are significant capital and maintenance needs in the district.
The next step is for the board to decide if it wants to spend $30,000 to $35,000 for Johnson Controls to do a full assessment of the district''s facility needs and come up with a detailed plan of action, the article noted.
