BLOOMINGTON, IN — The deadline for JanSan industry professionals to submit comments for the new Version 3 Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design-Existing Buildings Operations and Maintenance (LEED-EBOM) is January 30, according to a press release.
According to the release, The Ashkin Group, selected last year to work with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) on the project, is gathering comments about LEED-EBOM and its impact on green cleaning to be provided to LEED Technical Advisory Groups (TAGs) for consideration as they develop the 2012 standards prerequisites.
The Ashkin Group President Stephen Ashkin said: "This is our last chance to make our thoughts known about the new LEED-EBOM cleaning standards."
The Ashkin Group has set up a website to facilitate the collection of comments, the release added.
Ashkin added: "This is very important for our industry and we appreciate all of those [who] have already taken the time to become involved with this process."
